A water - cooled permanent magnet motor is a type of electric motor that combines the advantages of permanent magnet technology with an efficient cooling system using water.

1. Working Principle

 
  • Electromagnetic Induction: At its core, like other motors, it operates based on the principle of electromagnetic induction. When an electric current is passed through the stator windings, a rotating magnetic field is created. The permanent magnets on the rotor are then attracted and repelled by this magnetic field, causing the rotor to rotate. The interaction between the magnetic field of the stator and the permanent magnets on the rotor generates the mechanical torque that drives the motor's shaft.
  • Permanent Magnets: The use of permanent magnets, such as neodymium - iron - boron (NdFeB) magnets, provides a constant magnetic field.
